The Nike Tier Zero line has been a little too quiet for our liking lately, but it appears that they are springing back into action without losing a step thanks to this new Air Max 90 “Grid Pack” Quickstrike. The pack contains two different versions of the iconic running model, one Air Max 90 Current and one Air Max 90 Flywire.  The CT model features a black on black color scheme with a white grid pattern covering most of the upper.

This colorful flaming new Nike is actually a recreation based on the Nike Air Tech Challenge fom the late 80’s to early 90’s. Like most creations of Nike, this one is innovative and flashy, but there’s quite a bit more to its beauty than simple bravado.

The lava graphics, the wavy volt yellow section, and the colorful heel are all references to various items in the Air Tech Challange. In spite of that, the combination doesn’t look like a mishmash of disparate pieces thrown together, since the designers were able to forge the details successfully into a whole that is all-new.

Vans Vault Sk8-Hi LX Croc Skin in Red, Honey and Retro

We have already seen several solid efforts from Vans in the form of some hot Sk8-Hi and here is another set.   The Vans Vault features a Sk8-Hi Croc skin in three colorways.  The three colorways of the classic skate shoes are red and honey, both featuring solid uppers with white midsoles and laces, while the third colorway is the classic black and white color scheme.

Coming from the recently released New Balance MTG580 Gore-Tex, New Balance are wasting no time continuing their Gore-Tex efforts.  New Balance Gore Tex technology will keep sneaker fans’ feet comfortable and dry at all times.

There are two versions of a gradient style MT580 that can be seen here.   One pair of sneakers fades from fuchsia to bright yellow while the other has a simple white to black fade.

Nike is scheduled to release Nike’s North Package this year. No official release date as of this time but the three colors can be found on eBay, available for purchase only in sample sizes.

There will also be three attractive different colors for the North pack such as orange/black, purple/grey and grey/black. The inner sole of this sneaker will sports the letter N while the North will be written on the tongue under the Nike logo.  The model appears like a denim-like look on the toe box and heel area.
