Adidas Originals Consortium Project

We’ve been staring at the sneakers for minutes now and we haven’t been successful in finding the infamous three-stripes from Adidas. The Adidas Originals Consortium Project is an innovative sneaker from the brand, but surprisingly, it does not sport the brand logo at all.

This could be good news for all those who want to catch Adidas without the three-stripes. The sneaker was first launched as a signature shoe of George “Rod” Laver, a popular world tennis champion in the 1970s.

As you may have noticed by now, this sneaker model does not have the iconic Adidas three-stripes so that it comes out simpler than you would expect it to be. These new sneakers are reworks of the originals and they are limited edition sneakers that will be made available at Consortium stores.

One of the simplest colorways we found in the Adidas Originals Consortium Project is the Grass Court white sneaker with a primarily white upper and a suede heel tab in green. The Rod Laver name is also in green, and can be found at the heels.

The sneaker has side panels made of ribbed mesh, and the overall effect is that of a vintage sneaker. It has leather lacestays, toe and tongue.

Another favorite of ours is the Laver sneaker with a red upper and neon yellow accent on the collar and the inner lining.
