Japanese athletic equipment company Asics and Stockholm-based sneaker shop Sneakersnstuff are in for a yet another collaborative project. Asics has been known in producing professional footwear for sports like football, tennis, badminton, running and more; and we’ve also seen the company do collaborations, which is also what Sneakersnstuff does with different sneaker companies.

Mita Sneakers is a sneaker boutique that has become popular through their cool collaborative works with various well-known sneaker brands. This year, they’ve teamed up with Japanese sneaker brand Asics and created the Mita x Asics Gel Lyte III Mirimoma Project.

It’s been almost a year when we featured a sneaker from Japanse brand, Asics. Luckily we were able to find a pair that they will be releasing next month. This sneaker is the Asics Double Clutch which Asics designed by teaming up with online store, Flauge.

Normally, Asics designs their footwear with colorful combination but because of their collaboration with Flauge, they were able to produce an elegant looking all-black pair. The Livestrong color has always been identified with another brand so it may be just coincidental that the same colorway is found on another sneaker. After all, one brand does not have the monopoly of colors.

You can thus find the Asics Gel Lyte III – Black / Yellow sneaker in a black leather upper with the Asics silver logo on the side panels. We have not been fans of Onitsuka sneakers for a long time but this number has gotten out attention.
