It is easy to criticize sneaker designs but a lot of people do not even know the hard work that goes into the art of sneaker design. It is not just fashion skills that you should possess to design a fairly good sneaker, but you should also have creativity and some math skills to keep it flowing on the feet.

The 2009 Future Sole Jordan Finals sneaker is proof of how gifted some people are when it comes to sneaker designing. The sneaker designed by Daniel Gold got our attention first with its multicoloured upper in black, blue and white. Accent comes in the form of the yellow Jumpman and a strip of yellow on the collar of the sneaker. The sneaker sports black shoe laces and white sole.

Another design seen at the competition is the one in a predominantly black upper with black laces. The accent of the sneaker comes in the light blue mid panel with the Jumpman logo and the light blue sole.

The Nike Future Sole design Competition has attracted a lot of talents with the number of entries received almost doubled compared to last year. The competition was further divided into the Nike Basketball and Jordan Brand categories.
