The Nike Cortez models, as we all know, are indeed Nike classic sneakers which we have seen several times in different versions but now, Nike is presenting this classic with their new innovative technology called the Flywire.

We have seen Nike use Flywires in their Hyperdunk models as well as on their running shoes but this time it will be the Cortez model that will be applied with this technology. The Flywire technology is tested to make sneakers lightweight while maintaining its durability. This is indeed a great addition to the Cortez’s. Aside from this, the new version is also displayed with a suede upper giving it some texture.

This new version of cortez is available in color ways of orange, blue, and black. Both the orange and blue have the white Nike swoosh while the black has a pink Nike swoosh. All of these three are also equipped with durable free sole. These new additions to the Cortez sneakers are really great and the best thing about it is they we’re able to maintain their classic looks.

Expect these classic Nike Cortez sneakers to hit Nike outlets on Spring 2009.
