Nike Tapestry Sneakers by Emma Sulzer

How would you like to collect sneakers that are never to be worn and only for display? That is the case when you get the Nike Tapestry Sneakers by Emma Sulzer sneaker which brings the art of knitting, crocheting and weaving to a younger audience.

The Nike Tapestry Sneakers by Emma Sulzer sneaker was actually inspired be her friend’s sneaker collection which made her realize how footwear has become a medium for promoting social and creative inputs. Each sneaker is a labor of love by designer Emma Sulzer who takes as long as 40 hours to create one shoe. Her designs start from mere plastic sheets and ends up with a weave sneaker with all the extra effects you see in a regular sneaker including icy soles.

The sneaker may not be wearable but it looks just like the real thing. Proof is this 3D model which was shown in a recent exhibit. The image you see is a surefire Jordan knockout, with a white upper and matching white shoe laces. The sneaker is accented here by a purple tongue with the aquamarine Jumpman logo.
