Vans is releasing an interesting pair of sneaker as they create another version of Johnny Layton’s debut signature skateboarding shoe. Johnny Layton is a professional skater and was given his own Vans sneaker during his debut. This year, Vans is modifying this model to create a sneaker that many skater and sneaker enthusiasts would love.

This Johnny Layton debut signature shoes is known as Vans J Lay Mid model which they are introducing this year with a new look. This new version of this skateboard sneaker is said to be inspired of mid top basketball shoes that were used by skateboarders during the 1970s.

This version is created by using a smooth suede material from pig skin that composes the front are, side panels and back area of this sneaker. This material is highlighted in teal color that looks goods with the smooth leather material in black found on the heel tab, toe box and tongue. This sneaker also includes black shoelaces complementing the upper and a white outsole for contrast.

This pair of Vans J Lay Mid Skateboard sneaker is now available at selected Vans retailers and online stores.
